The parents of the little girl and her dog Toby seek protection abruptly in a storm shelter, while a powerful F5 tornado is directed toward them, destroying everything in its path. They manage to arrive in time at the shelter, but tornado force is so great that the father of Jo cannot sustain the shelter door and start it of rennet, so the father of Jo flies and is killed by the tornado. Only Jo, your mother and your pet survive.
